My work experience has been in a variety of industries; financial, entertainment, publication, education, advertising, outdoor + recreation, sports + activewear, fine art, science + engineering, non-profits, and agriculture. Projects include branding, identity packages, style guides, design systems, package design, print collateral, page layout, illustrations (technical and creative), interactive layouts, and user experience design (UX) + user interface design (UI). Through my career I have worked with project managers, print vendors, copy writers, art directors, and developers. Over the years I have found that strong communication skills have helped me achieve success on projects from beginning to end for both employers and clients. I have been grateful to share my knowledge in the classroom and virtually with design students along the way.

In my spare time, I enjoy being outside with my family. I want my children to understand the benefits of the great outdoors and learn a sense of responsibility for it, which they seem to understand at some level when we go hiking with our dogs. I also enjoy cooking for them. I am looking forward to a time in life where I will be able to travel more with them too.
