In the Pacific Northwest there is a large community of people involved with watersports. Several former projects have dealt with helping such communities; such as eNRG Kayaking, a paddling instruction school, as well as helping with promotional materials with river clean up projects. Through my involvement I met members of the Oregon Kayak and Canoe Club who needed help with their branding. The design was done in a manner that reflected the scenery found in the area as well as emphasizing a feel for the western United States. The balance between positive and negative space works effectively with the design if in black and white as well in color. The asymmetrical balance in the design was created with the intention of creating a strong eyeflow through the composition.
