On the first Friday of every month in Flagstaff, AZ, an art walk is held downtown. This poster was designed to encourage people to travel a few miles east of the downtown Art Walk to Wanderlust Brewing Company where they were showing artwork as well. To help people locate the brewery a small walking map was included to the layout. The same evening NAU’s Visual Communication program was having students present a Grafik Intervention Project in the near vicinity of the brewery. The project was created as part of by William Cullpepper’s graduate work at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA. The project was part of an environmental graphics course at NAU, where students would find old, abandoned buildings and find research on the use of the dilapidated structures. Based on the information they found, motion graphic designs were created and projected on the sides of the building.
