The Friends of Flagstaff National Monuments needed branding and a web presence. The Friends of Flagstaff National Monuments works together by supporting and preserving three local national monuments: Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Wupatki National Monument, and Walnut Canyon National Monument. In anticipation of where the logo may be placed, such as very small on the back of publications and other small, hand held collateral, emphasis was placed on the type rather than just the pictorial mark. The pictorial mark represents the traditional doorway found in the Native American structures found within the monuments and the color scheme is reflective of the colors found within terrain of the region.
