The Early Bird app UI project was an idea for stepping outside of the typical grocery delivery apps by focusing only on produce supplied by community supported agriculture (CSA). Many CSA organizations supply customers with local produce, but those who don’t pick them up get donated. The Early Bird app would provide delivery of extra produce or donated produce to people who might not be mobile, such as those who are handicapped or the elderly.
The design began with interviews, competitive analysis, and user personas. Then an app map was designed.
Wireframes were created by hand followed by digital iterations based on user testing.
Style tiles were created to help direct the aesthetic of the designs.
The final digital mockups were then created to show how the final product should look.
